Charlie: Keeping busy with work, the things at home that are basic fix it jobs, family, running kids to and from Doctor’s, continues to work on the computer, works with Charles with both computer projects and math, still plays his guitar which we enjoy singing and having devotionals as a family whatever nights allow. He is also trying to adjust to a new job. |
Carol: Joins Charlie in trying to adjust to the feeling of his new job, less days off, trying to be supportive. Enjoy singing, voice has a mind of its own. Love to walk, no more running as still dealing with unknown possible nerve damage to feet. Preparing school work, chores, school communication. Longing for times that match friends schedules to spend some time with them. |

Charles: A 12th grade Senior involved with both Youth Group at church and OO – and Osborne Church Outreach to people who visit the church, he is continuing to learn more and more on the computer and in his favorite operating system "Linux", which he now attends meetings with a group every other week. Charles helps with siblings and still babysits off and on, he has applied for some jobs, but waiting until the first of the year is fine, about that time we have a Walgreen’s coming in so perhaps he can try there? He continues to babysit for a the same couple as last year. It has slacked off a bit but he still gets calls from them when they need to get away or have something to do where the kids don’t need to be there. He has also helped a couple times with our friends Al and Kathie at Samsons Hauling. He has filled in a few job applications locally here but no job yet. That’s another thing to pray for that he would find something to do for a living sometime soon. |
Chris: Chris is also involved in the Youth Group at Church. Is still attending Miller High School, doing fairly well, he has a good teacher with good communication. Chris loves sports, especially basketball. Chris also got hearing aids this year and one of his electives which we also pushed for is Sign Language, lets Mom and brother Charles and others continue to practice a bit here and there. |
Curtis: Was blessed to remain at West Valley Special Ed School for this one more year, his teacher is one super lady with communication and Curtis has made mighty progress, in signing, less frustration and we give "Praise" to Teacher Roz for her true love and gifts in this area. Curtis is about I guess we could say 75% to 80% potty conditioned. Still eating only mushed foods, but getting better at taking some lumps and is eating more as he grows. |
Charlotte: Charlotte is still at Osborne Christian School, is finding the moving into 6th grade a bit more difficult although doing pretty well in Spelling, Art is a real gift of Charlotte’s and the new thing is Gel pens. Charlotte enjoys outside time on her big tree rope, riding bikes, walks with Mom and sisters and brothers, reading, computers and both her and Candace enjoy Sunday School and their singing and Drama after Sunday School in a Program called "Kingdom Kids." |
Candace: Is becoming a young lady and with that involves the teaching of modesty as with each of the children. Candace is doing well with her work, she is also now attending Osborne Christian School, we are proud as she is learning the Pledge of Allegiance and singing is a real gift, boy how she remembers the words and actions to songs on the VCR’s. She along with Charlotte continue in Drama and Singing "Kingdom Kids" at Church. |
Caleb: Continues at West Valley Special Ed School, he is having difficulty communicating still either with sign or their new PEC cards, although there are times he tries to take a hand and guide you to places sometimes it is , Guess what for places? – we continue to pray for peacefulness as he deals with the frustration of being non-verbal. |
Cora: Cora is working on sign, sitting still , she is a full steam determined energy machine. She loves outside things and is so flexible that she needs to be watched as fences not a problem for her to get over. Cora loves hugs and to pester a few of her brothers, she is learning much from trying to watch a Sing a long video and her sisters and following steps, although again she has problems staying on task very long which is hard. Both Cora and Candace had new ear tubes put in this year. |
Camille: Has just begun at Osborne Christian School, she does fairly well at sign and verbal ( if you know how she pronounces a bit different), she loves to be independent and again is another one for showing her gift of dancing and following the steps to Video hand motions and dances. Camille is a little more cautious with heights such as the Van and beds so still is sleeping in a crib and when and if she naps it is on the bed with a bar on it. |
Connor Lee: Became very verbal at about 2½, although he was signing long before that, in front of new people he is shy, for a time. Otherwise he can turn the house upside down including his 6 foot brother. Connor just turned 3 years old and sometimes is said to rule the house, so we again have to deal with what discipline will work. He stopped wanting to go down for a nap about 6 months ago, so not much quiet time around here. He loves Sunday School and Church Class and he and Camille just performed their first singing in front everyone in the Big Chapel so they became shy on stage. |

Claire Vanessa: Has grown so fast, she will be 2 years old this month, she began walking fairly early and is now at the stage of getting up on anything that gives her some height and pulls the sugar, chocolate milk down , chips. When it is quiet watch out.. She also fights sleep already and tries to keep up with everyone else. She enjoys Church singing time and nursery. Is making some sounds and signs and hand motions when we are singing. |
